Kylie Kelce blasts Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift relationship and reveals why it will never work out, says she will do anything to pull them apart.
Travis Kelce sat down for the New Heights podcast knowing the conversation would hurt. His brother Jason waited on the other side of the microphone, ready to discuss Kansas City’s collapse against Houston Texans.
The tight end could not avoid confronting his role in the defeat that pushed the Chiefs to the brink of playoff elimination.
Travis Kelce accepts responsibility for dropped pass that sealed Texans victoryKelce opened with stark honesty about Kansas City’s dire situation. “Obviously, looking at the playoffs late in the season right now, it’s not looking too great for us right now,” he acknowledged on his recent podcast appearance on New Heights episode 169.
“You know, it’s a crazy league. Anything can happen, and that’s you know, the little bit of hope that I have,” Kelce continued, searching for optimism in an increasingly desperate situation.
But hope felt hollow given the circumstances. “But man, this is a tough reality to be in. It’s just a bad feeling, especially dropping the ball late in the game like that when we were on our last chance to make something shake,” he admitted.
The drop against Houston came in the fourth quarter with Kansas City trailing by ten points. Mahomes delivered a pass that hit Kelce’s hands, bounced off his chest, and landed in Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair’s arms.
The interception eliminated Kansas City’s final opportunity to mount a comeback. Kelce sat alone on the bench afterward with his eyes closed, processing the magnitude of his error.
“I hear you. You put in all this work to, you know, be there for your guys, and I just wasn’t that,” Kelce stated, his voice heavy with the weight of letting teammates down.
