Halle Bailey and DDG have called it quits less than a year after welcoming their son, Halo.
“After much reflection and heartfelt support conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways,” DDG, 26, wrote via his Instagram Story on Thursday, October 3.
“This decision was not easy, but we believe it’s the best path forward for both of us.” DDG (real name Darryl Dwayne Grandberry Jr.) shared that he cherished the time he and Bailey, 24, “spent together” and the “love” they had for one another throughout the course of their relationship.
“Despite changes in our relationship, our love for each other remains deep and true. We are still best friends and adore each other,” he continued.
“As we focus on our individual journeys and our roles as coparents, we cherish the bond we’ve built and the beautiful moments we shared.”
