Davidson was just 20 when he joined the long-running comedy show and has since gone on to become a household name.
But it has emerged that he will leave the show at the end of this season, according to a new report in variety. His final appearance is thought to be this Saturday (21 May), when the 47th season of Saturday Night Live draws to a close.
Davidson isn’t the only one of its stars reported to be leaving as Aidy Bryant, Kate McKinnon and Kyle Mooney are also expected to bow out at the end of the show’s current run, according to the same report.
NBC declined to make producers available for comment when contacted by Variety.
During his run on the show, Davidson has become as famous for his love life as he has his comedy.
