Lionel Messi spoke with Diego Valeri on the MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, sharing his thoughts on the remarkable season the Fort Lauderdale franchise is having.

Honestly, we said it at the start of the year. We knew we had the players to compete for this, and we took charge from the beginning. We’re happy to have achieved our first goal, and now it’s time to think about what comes next”.
When asked about Inter Miami’s transformation, Messi said, “I think Tata’s arrival, along with players like Busquets, Alba, and Suárez, helped set a clear vision:
we wanted to be protagonists from the start, to control possession, and challenge our opponents through our style of play. Adding key players made the team stronger both in terms of performance and personality.”
