Travis Kelce caught forcing a smile while showing fake support for Taylor Swift, as fans claim he never truly loved her from the beginning and was only fulfilling his own selfish desires.
Taylor Swift gushed over her “meaningful” relationship with Travis Kelce in Tuesday’s clip of her forthcoming “End of an Era” docuseries.
In the rare comment about their romance, the pop star referred to her now-fiancé as the “greatest surprise of [her] life.” She gushed, “The most meaningful relationship I’ve ever had… started with a man saying he was butthurt that I didn’t want to meet him.”
The singer, of course, was referencing the viral July 2023 “New Heights” episode during which Kelce, 35, told podcast listeners Swift, 34, had not allowed him backstage during an Eras Tour show.
At the time, the Kansas City Chiefs player wanted to give the singer his number on a friendship bracelet. The duo went public with their romance two months later, and Swift outlined their similarities in the new “End of an Era” trailer.
“We both entertain people,” she explained. “His [performances come] with considerably more violence than mine.” As Swift spoke, footage played of the couple hugging backstage, practicing choreography for his onstage appearance and more sweet moments.
“You’ve got teammates, [and] I’ve got teammates,” Kelce pointed out during a phone call with Swift.
The Grammy winner, who was on a car ride at the time, replied, “You’ve got Coach [Andy] Reid. I’ve got my mom, [Andrea Swift].” The teaser concluded with Taylor and Kelce cracking up over the comparison.
News broke last month that fans would get a deep dive into Taylor’s record-breaking Eras Tour in a six-episode Disney+ series premiering Dec. 12 — and plenty of PDA with Kelce was featured in the first look at the documentary. In a clip shared last week, Andrea credited her future son-in-law with bringing “a lot of happiness.”
The athlete proposed to Taylor in August, with Page Six reporting earlier this month that the pair will walk down the aisle at her $17 million Rhode Island mansion.
Kelce got down on one knee immediately after his partner appeared on “New Heights” for her podcast debut. The duo gave rare insight into the early days of their romance, with the musician comparing Kelce’s “man-tantrum” to a “wild romantic gesture.”
She said that if the “Catching Kelce” alum wasn’t “crazy,” the podcast callout was what she’s “been writing songs about wanting to happen” since her teens.
