The CBS sitcom marks the first time the famous father-and-son duo has starred together.

But Hudson was equally interested in hearing about the time NBA legend Michael Jordan moved in next door to the family years ago.

“When he shot Space Jam, he came and he was our next door neighbor for the summer,” Damon Jr., 41, explained. “First of all, this dude came over way too much,” he joked of Jordan. “I’m like, ‘Bro, you got a movie to shoot or something?’ ”

Damon Jr., who would have been in his early teens around the time that the 1996 comedy was being filmed, joked that his dad would allow Jordan to stop by and eat “all my snacks.”
