George W. Bush is a grandfather, again! Barbara Pierce Bush welcomes second child

Former President George W. Bush shared a photo to Instagram Tuesday congratulating his daughter, Barbara Pierce Bush, on the Aug. 4 birth of her second baby.

The Dallas-based former President shared a photo to Instagram on Tuesday congratulating his daughter, Barbara Pierce Bush, on the Aug. 4 birth of her second baby with husband, Craig Coyne. The photo shows Barbara and Craig cuddled up with the new baby boy, named Edward Finn Coyne.

“Welcome to the world, Edward Finn Coyne. @laurawbush and I are proud grandparents of our newest blessing, born on August 4 and lovingly named in honor of his great-grandfathers,” his post read. “Congratulations to Barbara, Craig, and big sister Cora Georgia.”

Cora, 2, Barbara and Craig’s first child, was born in 2021.

Barbara’s sister, Today Show co-host Jenna Bush Hager, also congratulated the couple in a carousel of photos with her new nephew shared on Instagram.

“My sissy had a little mister and I fell madly in love with Edward Finn!,” Jenna wrote.

The photos show Jenna feeding her new nephew, another with Barbara holding Edward as Jenna looks on, and a third shows Edward in his mother’s arms.

Jenna is a mother of three herself. She shares daughters Mila and Poppy and son Hal with her husband Henry Chase Hager.

The sisters visited the George W. Bush Presidential Center on the campus of SMU last fall for an event for the launch of their children’s book “Love Comes First.”
