Sonam Kapoor reveals an unexpected connection to Kajol as she recalls being ‘traumatized’ by trolling over facial hair.

During an exclusive heart-to-heart conversation at Barkha Dutt’s We The Women summit, the Disney Khoobsurat actress took a moment to reflect on her past struggles. Sonam didn’t hesitate to mention how she dealt with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), sharing its impact on her teenage years as she discussed weight gain, acne, and facial hair.

The Blind actress said it was upsetting when people drew parallels between her and father Anil Kapoor, criticising her appearance because of her ‘unwanted’ facial hair.

She recalled, “I had facial hair. And you break out in acne. I had people tell me, ‘Oh, she’s Anil Kapoor’s daughter.’ You know, weird trolling things.” She recalled, “I had facial hair.
